AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 83-19-67, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO REVISE THE REQUIREMENTS CONCERNING DOMESTIC INSURER MANAGEMENT CONTRACTS; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. Section 83-19-67, Mississippi Code of 1972, is amended as follows:

83-19-67.  * * * Any management contract between a domestic insurer and another person, as defined in Section 83-6-1(f), shall be filed and subject to review and final approval of the State Insurance Department.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after July 1, 1999.
